Pechino Express (Uzbekistan)

"Pechino Express" is one of the most successful formats of recent years, and this new edition will once again see the 10 couples competing, traveling thousands of miles within a territory that is distant from their home territory, both geographically and culturally. The newness of this season is that the couples will not only travel by hitchhiking, but they will also cross the desert by dromedary, board trains, tractors, boats and will have to face hard trails on foot.

About the project

Our partnership with our Belgian client expanded from producing Pekin Express for M6 Channel (France) to producing Pechino Express for Banijay (Italy). Scope of work included provision of charter plane landing permit, transportation, crew hire, and obtainment of all filming and location permits. Production of Pechino Express involved over 40 vehicles of various types, accommodations for a crew of 120+ people.

Our shoot began in an ancient city of Khiva and continued on to Bukhara, Samarkhand and finished in Tahskent.
