Filming permit in Kyrgyzstan

Anyone who wants to film on the territory of Kyrgyzstan must first seek accreditation (film permit) from the Foreign Ministry. A letter on the company’s official letterhead must include information about the person or media organization requesting the accreditation and request authorization to film in Kyrgyzstan. The following documents must be submitted in addition to the letter:

1) The names and resumes of the crew members going to Kyrgyzstan

2) Digital passport photocopies.

3) three JPG-formatted 3×4 cm passport-sized photographs.

4) Completed form from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs website states that the decision will be made in 15 days, although our prior experience has revealed that it may take up 15 to 30 plus days, so please take into consideration when planning the dates.
